No Dehdhari Guru, however great a holy man, can ever
match up to ‘Akal Purakh’ (all-pervasive
immortal God). That is why Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh
warned all Sikhs:
‘Whoever calls me highest God,
They all will fall into the fires of hell.
Recognize me as His [God’s] slave.
Do not doubt this the slightest. I am a servant of the all pervasive highest God.
I have come [born] to see the wonderful drama that is this world.
What the master [God] has commanded me to say in the world,
I will say.
I will not stay silent because of people.’ ‘Dasam
Guru Durbar’, Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh, Bachittar

Conversely, no scripture, however great can ever fully
expound the virtues of the highest Guru (that is variously known
as ‘Va-eh Guru’/’Raam’/’Hari’/’Allah’
etc). Only those individuals may comprehend 'Parmeshwar',
who are blessed by him, and even then, it is only a glimpse of the
entire intellect given the limitations of being human. Such a blessing
can be achieved ultimately through a Guru according to the ideology
followed by Sanatan Sikhism. Such a Guru may be in form of ‘Shabad’
(sacred scripture), ‘Dehdhari’ (living
teacher), ‘Nirankar’ (formless God)
or a combination of the three.

The great Muslim/Hindu holy man Kabir wrote:
‘First Allah created the primal
light [of creation], [hence] all men are [creation] of God’s
power.
[If] from one light the entire world was created, then who is
better who is worse?
Oh people, oh brothers, do not fall into delusion [of discrimination].
In all creation resides the creator, he resides complete in
all places.
The earth is one, being molded in many forms by the creator
There is nothing lacking in the vessels (ie. Humans) of earth,
nor is there anything lacking in the pot maker (ie. the Creator).
In all is the true One, in whose doing all happens. He who recognizes‘Hukam’ (Gods universal
mystical command), only he appreciates the ‘Ekh’
and thus can be termed a true man.
Allah that is beyond comprehension, and cannot be fully comprehended.
His sweet secrets my Guru [Swami Ramanand] has given me.
Says Kabir, my doubts have fled as I have seen ‘Niranjan’
(one uninfluenced by ‘Maya’ – the magic/temptations/illusions
of creation).’ ‘Adi Guru Durbar’, Raag
Prabhati, Pa.1349
Ultimately, within the realms of Sanatan Sikh, the
Guru in whatever form he/she/it arrives and reveals ‘Parmeshwar
Ekh’ should be respected. Such a true Guru is only
that which attaches you to ‘Ekh Nirankar’.
That which attaches you to any other cannot be Satgur.
In case of Akali Nihang Singhs - in this dark of ‘Kal
Yuga’ the very form of Va-eh Guru manifest in the
world is the three Sikh scriptures Adi, Dasam, Sarbloh Guru Durbar
(3 sacred Sanatan scriptures), 'Shastars' (weapons)
and Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa Dal Panth (the Army) and none other.
