Amal

Amal, refers to the technique of practicing what is learned or taught. Amal is the most important facet of Nitnem. Akali Guru Arjan Dev has said:

‘Practice oneself, and then teach others.
The name of ‘Raam’ (all pervasive God) that resides within you.’
